Renee entered the community in the mid 90's. The Drive to Service led Renee to run for Ms. Alaska Leather in 2016. A move to Anchorage, travel to events in the lower 48 re-ignited the desire to understand, learn, and share her love of Leather with her Alaskan community. This began her work to document, preserve Alaskan Leather History, with special focus on Alaska's Leather Women. She became 2017 Women's International Leather Legacy. Currently, Renee's joy is found in recording the “Herstory” of the Women's Leather community as WILL. She was honored by the Leather Community as the 2018 Pantheon of Leather Winner Pacific Northwest. She teaches communities how to document, preserve their own leather histories, through the Leather Evidence Archive Project. She is a member of The Last Frontier Men's Club, HardPink Sisterhood, since relocating to Georgia, has been invited to participate in the Atlanta Mentors Group, the Black Atlanta Munch Group and the NC/SC POC BDSM Group.
